What is a personal care senior living community?
A licensed personal care senior living community provides an environment where adults who are capable of caring for themselves can receive some help with daily living activities. Residents enjoy living in apartments that provide the privacy and comfort of home while also having access to assistance with dressing, eating, bathing, grooming, and other daily tasks as needed. Our residents also benefit from our community environment which includes a wide variety of social activities, communal spaces, and 24-hour onsite care.

How does a personal care community differ from a skilled nursing facility?
A personal care senior living community is designed to provide seniors who are mostly able to care for themselves with any help they need to maintain their independence. Skilled nursing facilities are designed to care for people who have numerous health care needs that require ongoing assistance to the point that they can no longer care for themselves.

What is included in each apartment?
We offer studio, one bedroom apartments, and two bedroom apartments. All apartments include a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave; large closets, and private bathrooms equipped with built in bench seat and grab bars for resident safety.

What is included in the monthly fee?
At Exceptional Senior Living, we want you to enjoy life. Our monthly fee includes your rent, Wi-Fi internet, phone, all meals, electricity, water, heating and air conditioning, basic cable television, trash removal, on-site maintenance, exterior maintenance, and your apartment repairs. Housekeeping and laundry service are included.

Will parking be available for residents who have cars?
Yes, our private parking lot is located close to our center for ease of access and safety. We also have plenty of visitor parking for all guests.

Do you have transportation?
Yes! Scheduled transportation is available at Exceptional Senior Living. Whether you need to make a trip to the doctor's office, shopping center, church or more, we have you covered. Just let our concierge know when you need to be there and we will get you to your destination.

May I bring my own furniture?
Yes, you are encouraged to bring your own furnishings to make your home feel comfortable to you. If you need furniture, let us know and we will provide options for your needs.

What types of activities do you offer?
We offer a variety of activities that cater to multiple levels of resident abilities. We take pride in our activities program through our commitment to providing quality, meaningful daily and special activities for our residents in group settings and on a one-on-one basis.

Are religious services offered?
Yes, our community offers a Bible study.

What is a level of care?
The level of care is the amount of services you will need assistance with. Upon move in, our team will chat with you and your family about your current health and medical history. This will allow us to best determine how we can serve you. In addition, we will discuss your preference, routines, and areas that you believe are essential that you many need discreet assistance.

Following this conversation, our nursing team will develop an individualized service plan. Throughout your residence, we will meet with you to determine any changes needed to your level of care.

May I reserve my apartment today?
Yes! Reserving your apartment early allows for the most selection. Would you like to be in a corner room, close to the entrance, near the dining room, or perhaps near the bistro? Let us know your preference and apply today!

Do you offer an emergency alert system?
We want you to be safe and secure while at Exceptional Senior Living. Each resident is provided with an emergency alert system and checked on by a nurse daily.
